Hall for Hire
Whilst predominantly being the perfect venue for live music, it is also an amazing space for other occasions, birthdays, weddings, christenings and corporate events. We can accommodate approximately 250 for a seated event and anything up to 650 for a standing live music event.

Live Lounge
An opportunity for up and coming artists of any genre to perform in a relaxed atmosphere, supported by other talented musicians. Graeme and Peter run this evening on alternate Wednesdays throughout the year and offer support to all performers.

Priority Events
Smile offers a range of live music events and comedy nights. Customers attending these live events must be over 18. Limited tickets will be available on the night for each event, at an additional cost.
Live music in the CAFÉ BAR most weekends.
As an up and coming music venue, Smile Bar and Venue is committed to providing live music every weekend in either the café/bar or our main hall.
Parking
If you’re travelling to Smile Bar and Venue by car, we recommend parking in either A1 parking, available for 24 hours, which is located behind the premier Inn; or the university car park on Wakefield Road, just before the roundabout, from 5:30pm for 12 hours. Please note that Smile Bar and Venue are not responsible for any restrictions imposed by either car park and you park at your own risk.
